This is not a "Boeing 314," but instead a Pan American Airways Martin M-130 flying boat (reg. NC14714), better known as the "Hawaii Clipper." She'd disappear with 15 souls aboard on a flight from Guam to Manilla, on July 28, 1938. See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawaii_Clipper

This was an experimental aircraft for the US Navy which "..was intended to use it to lead a pair of Naval Aircraft Factory PN-9s in an attempt to fly to Hawaii on 31 August 1925, but engine trouble led to its participation in the flight being cancelled."
