    The "lake" in the background is actually seawater and is called Sørfjorden (meaning the fjord pointing south).

    I just can't get over how the distribution of these pics on flickr has led many norwegians from the corresponding areas to comment, which again has consequently led to LOC being able to update info on the pictures. For me, it's inspiring to see how my country looked like a hundred years ago. Absolutely amazing :)
