  Correct spelling today is: Buarbreen (meaning: The Buar Glacier) These pictures are fantastic!

  I just can't get over how the distribution of these pics on flickr has led many norwegians from the corresponding areas to comment, which again has consequently led to LOC being able to update info on the pictures. For me, it's inspiring to see how my country looked like a hundred years ago. Absolutely amazing :)

  There is probably a misspelling in the name of the place this photo. The name is Odda, not Odde. More information about Odda

  Odde is actually the old spelling - it is not a misprint.
