  Sharon Corbet I think you have it Sharon! I was looking for a bridge but the nearest one to where the ships were moored is relatively new so I was looking in vain! This would have been taken from the heights near where the railway station is now!

  Australian National Maritime Museum on The Commons Ha ha! I was trying to establish a date for the whole album. From the look of it I initially thought late 1880s (Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee was in 1887), but it seems to be after 1897 (the Diamond Jubilee). I had been meaning to look into the Holdsworth Macpherson building history for yonks.
