This is a Friedrichshafen FF 33j Marinenummer 3033. The j-variant of the FF 33 was an unarmed two-seat reconnaissance floatplane with 3-bay wings. The picture is almost surely an official picture as the German Marine and Army always made official pictures of all their types from three views, side, front and back for documentation purposes.

Thanks to the original scanning Marinenummer 530 can be defined which makes it a Friedrichshafen FF 33e unarmed reconnaissance seaplane. Clearly the three bay wing can be seen.
