The picture shows the Friedrichshafen FF 33e Marinenummer '841' nicknamed Wölfchen. This plane was on board of the German ship 'Wolf' on its 64000 mile trip around the oceans (even till New Zealand) in the event destroying many ships. The 'Wölfchen' was the plane carried by the ship for reconnaissance. When the weather was good it was hoisted overboard with a crane and after the flight brought in again via the same method.

Another view of Friedrichshafen FF 33e '841' Wölfchen. In the front is IMO the decorated crew of the machine Paul Fabeck (pilot) and Otto Stein (observer). Although not clear to me it could be that this picture was taken on board of the mother ship Wolf.

Although almost invisible this must be the Friedrichshafen FF 33e '841' Wölfchen on board ship. This might be a picture of the festivities when the ship Wolf and the Wölfchen came back after their 64000 mile journey over the world seas. Remark at lower right the brass band and also the many civilians on board.
