P&O liner RMS MALOJA, from the Sydney Harbour Bridge

Wikipedia - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RMS_Maloja The presence of the vehicle ferry (see note) implies pre March 1932 Harbour Bridge opening (how geeky can I possibly get?) Possibly 21/8/1931 at 16.30 (Customs House clock see note) after a 4pm departure from Pyrmont? - trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/16827530

beachcomber australia Super sleuth! Well spotted re the ferry, I wonder how Hall got to be on the Harbour Bridge at that time, a maritime photographer's dream.

beachcomber australia Thanks for spotting the duplicate with this photograph beachcomber, oops! Regarding Hall being in two places at the same time, we reckon either one may have been taken by an employee of Hall & Co, especially seeing as this is a c 1932 image which makes this theory seem likely as the Hall business would have been more established.

Ha! I now think it must have been a different occasion, as the boat moored alongside Bennelong Point (see note) is different in each photo.

beachcomber australia What do you think about the theory here though:
RITANO MARU acting as a flagship possibly for the Anniversary Day regatta in Sydney Harbour

Possibly taken at different times, but on the same day for the bridge opening? Probably too difficult to say for sure.

Beautiful sunny portrait of ballet dancers. Great details the athletic bodies and the expressive smiles.
