Noted woman suffragist and civil rights activist Elisabeth Freeman (1876-1942) is the subject of an entire web site. Note the variant spelling of her first name used on the web site. Note that it does not extend to the site's url. What's up with that?

[1] "The family emigrated to the United States and the family lived on Long Island in New York, where her mother, Mary Hall Freeman, worked for an orphanage.
