I was just kidding about the drink though you can be sure it happened, if caught instant dismissal! These guys were so used to things and had plates on the critical ones to tell them what was what and where they went. I remember wathcing some of them in action and they looking like conductors of orchestra's they were so good at their work.

Though the date written on the negative is 3/4/22, the medal he is wearing is from an electrical engineering convention in Cincinnati in August, 1915.
