    Thanks for catching this, douglasleecoon. I'm having trouble reading the date on the negative. It's in reverse on the top right side. So what we can do is defer to our Bain default date span, "1910 to 1915" just to cover all possibilities.

    The comments on a photo on the shorpy website says that college students in those days would wear the year of their class graduation on their athletic uniforms. That particular picture was of a swim team with 1911, 1912, & 1913 on the chests of men in the same photo. The man in this picture is probably from the class of 1913, but the date of 1911 is likely to be right.
