Andy Brill Hmmm - not too sure she is the ALTCAR - different rigging (fully rigged not barque) and no cabin on the stern ... Photographer seems to be on Ballast Point looking east. GoogleMapsStreetView - sort of! See notes.

beachcomber australia You could be right, while there is a gap of 10 years or more between the photos, and the hull is similar, there are some above deck and rigging differences, though cabins tend to come and go. Either way, I cannot find the fate of the Altcar.
