I don't have enough information or confirming sources to make a proper identification, but perhaps this can catch the eye of someone who does. From what appears to be a partial name on the destroyer, and using this photograph to compare it to other destroyers in its class (Beagle) this may be the HMS Foxhound – a Beagle Class Destroyer launched on 11 December, 1909 and scraped in November 1921. If this is the HMS Foxhound the following information would support it. [1] [2] [3] In mid-1913 she was serving with the Third Destroyer Flotilla. Commander William G. Howard commanded her while she covered the landings at Anzac Cove in Gallipoli in April, 1915 with the 2nd Squadron. Sunday 25 April 1915
"Sixteen laden ship's lifeboats were towed in by picket boats, followed by equally-laden destroyers towing more lifeboats for their troops to disembark in; landing started around 0430, destroyers came under heavy machine gun and rifle fire. Many troops killed on the decks, crews suffered casualties. By 1400, 12,000 troops of 1st Australian Division were ashore with two batteries of Indian artillery, and within 24 hours, the 2nd Australian Division including a New Zealand Brigade had joined them."
