There's also a pic of Archduchess Auguste of Bavaria with a red cross insignia on her arm and belt buckle. I think she had some Hungarian connections, too. A newspaper article from 1914 says she was a nurse in Budapest.

nudecowboy, I have been trying to convince Wystan (finally successfully!) that www.flickr.com/photos/library_of_congress/4257086948/ is on the Lusitania (not far from this picture, I guess) and not on JP Morgan's Corsair III.

Yesterday the search was bringing back very incomplete results (and NONE for "lusitania" for a while) and I didn't run in to this picture and your model. That would clearly have led me to the expert. I did find the distinctive windows in another photo, which seemed to "nail it" for Wystan. But, anyway, here is fodder for your maritime obsession!!
