Hard to tell with it still in the scabbard, but that looks like a wallhanger. beachcomber australia's one looks more like a genuine sword you could poke someone with.

Seems legit: www.swordsdublin.net/mansion_house.html Apparently it's a genuine 15th century longsword, and the furniture is original, despite its impractical appearance.
