One of those cars parked at Clifford St. Police Station could well be mine!! I walked the streets during this period, with the 'wall' site office/architect's office was a good 'tea spot'. There or the catering van for the filming of When The Boat Comes In... Times were tough back then!

Can't identify if this is the Orphans, and another sad story is the Orphan Trains. Sad times back then and it continues on today. Many Children suffer from lack of a good Mother. The Father goes off into the Wild Blue Yonder. That is bad enough, but when the Mother don't give a rats ***, then the Poor Little Children have a double Whammy. It takes a loving , hard working Mother to keep the Children together.
