  Crikey. I didn't realise it took so long to build the Civic Centre. I can't see Jim Merrington sat in his Tyne Brewery office.

  Power station beside the brewery? Or could it simply be a large boiler house for the brewing process??

  If your talking the building with the two chimneys on Corporation Street, I think it was something to do with the brewing. You Could look in the windows as you walked past.

  the station was shared by Canadian Northern (later Canadian National which abandoned these tracks) and Canadian Pacific which had shared trackage through Belleville.
