The old pictures as shown were served as Nice souvenier from the past days. Old days to remember which are remarkable in the history of human about society development.

As the box in which these negatives were found is labelled 'All British Cabs. / at Nestles' it is possible that the cabs are in Great North Road, Abbotsford, where Nestle's had its factory. Some registration plates are visible on the vehicles - NSW Taxi Cabs 103, 399, 1994, 378, 331, 677, 303, 72, 1001, 1953, 1491, 105, 979 and 566. At the entrance to the Australia Hotel, Castlereagh Street, Sydney. The bronze statue in the photo - was one of a pair that created a 'parking zone' for arriving and departing guests. It was still there in 1912, when it was damaged by a lorry and had to be repaired.

We have used the presence or absence of tram horses to date many a photo over the years. Today can we focus a little on the working conditions for tram horses back then. We have seen photos of tramway buildings and power stations, but I do not think we have ever seen a Tramway stables or other infrastructure associated with the horses.
