More about Hilltop Park: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hilltop_Park

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Lost Ballparks, and we'd love to have your photo added to the group.

The title of this picture should be Albert "Cozy" Dolan not Dolin the bottom of the picture says Dolan, N.Y.A. www.baseball-reference.com/d/dolanco02.shtml

jesuswtf: Thanks for the tip! It does look like we have a typo in our caption. We’ll need to change the source data so that we can keep the information we show here in Flickr and in our own catalog ( http://www.loc.gov/rr/print/catalog.html) in sync.

Polo Grounds, New York, 4/14/1915.

New York Giants third baseman in 1915,
and see notes under

Thanks for the date and location, Wystan and for the additional information about Lobert, artolog. We will update our descriptions.

There is a picture of the building as it exists today at fredericksblogger.blogspot.com/2008/01/millard-fillmore-a...

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/chrisod] That is cool. I love to look up old pictures and then find the exact same spot in a recent picture to see how things have changed. Thanks for this post.

This Is Beautiful & Nice. Thank You and Good Morning Friends.

Wish Your Days Are Blessed And Happy.

John Bernard "Hans" Lobert (October 18, 1881 – September 14, 1968), major league infielder, manager and scout, here shown at the beginning of his three seasons as the New York Giants' third baseman, in 1915. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Lobert "When Connie Mack died in 1956, Hans Lobert became the man who had been in major-league baseball longer than anybody else. He continued to scout and work as an instructor for the Giants until his death in Philadelphia at age 87 on September 14, 1968." sabr.org/bioproj/person/1b9e4885
