According to www.geocities.com/titanicandco/olympic.html : ' When they arrived in New York the on looking crowd must have been amazed. They would never had seen a ship of that size. Unfortunately, neither had the other ships in New York harbour who found out difficult to keep control in their berths as the Olympic passed. The O.L. Hallenbach suffered serious damage to her rudder and stern frame when the Olympic's propeller pulled her in. The Olympic was not damaged (except for a few marking to her paintwork). The Olympic finally docked at pier 59.'

This is what it would have approximated with the fateful Titanic coming into NY, less than a year later. Only the sizable OLYMPIC would be the only one photographed in New York, in this era, thanks to an iceberg.

Pratt-Read PR-G1 (TG-32)

Initially constructed as a Pratt-Read LNE-1 for the US Navy (BuNo 31525; c/n 21), this PR-G1 would be sold on the civil market and registered as N63194. After its registration was canceled in 1981, it was reportedly stored in San Diego only to be destroyed by fire sometime prior to 1987. The cockpit remains in private storage in California.
