    I gather the PHM Kerry & Co pic was taken some time between 1889-91...if you zoom in, over on the left of frame you can see Winchcombe Carson's wool store at Central Wharf, pre the 1891 additions...Winchcombe Carson were established in 1889, so that has to be an earliest date... Winchcombe Carson didn't occupy this Windmill St wool store for long...they subsequently built a larger wool store on the corner of Wattle/Fig Sts at Pyrmont, which opened in 1893...the Pyrmont wool store then became the centre of their wool handling operations in Sydney...I gather they leased out the Windmill St wool store... The 1891 additions to the Winchcombe Carson wool store are seen in progress in this pic taken in Windmill St at Millers Point...the wool store had frontages to both the Central Wharf and to Windmill St... www.flickr.com/photos/193158484@N02/52215884429/ If it were there, I think we'd also see Hentch's Bond, in Windmill St...it was built in 1891 and burned down in 1903...seen here www.flickr.com/photos/state-records-nsw/4625663864/
