    Ah when nurses looked like nurses are supposed to look! I have an 1930s Dutch nurses uniform, much like it. My grandmothers wore it as well.

    He does look well and it is nice to put a face to a name. Obviously he and the wife made a good combination. That is a very historic chain around his neck, a symbol of British rank and station yet one that should be treasured for the connections with our country down the centuries!
