Stothert & Pitt of Bath poduced Titan blocksetting cranes for the construction of breakwaters and artificial harbours. I don't think this is one of theirs, but I could be wrong.

William Pettigrew, Brisbane, ca. 1875

William Pettigrew (1825-1906) was a sawmiller, politician, and diarist. Born near Ayr, Scotland, he emigrated to Australia in 1848, arriving in Moreton Bay in 1849. From 1849 to 1899 he kept diaries that provide a fascinating insight into life in colonial Queensland. The diaries are now in the care of the Royal Historical Society of Queensland.
