    I love this photo with the snow and homestead in the distance. Very nice photos its amazing theses colors are so vibrant this long after the photo being taken.

    The building on the left is now an art gallery called Gallery on the Green (http://www.galleryonthegreen.com). About 15 years ago, shortly after I first moved to DC, the Library of Congress produced a poster of this photo. I gave a copy to the gallery when we were there on vacation, but I haven't been back since to see if it is hanging anywhere.

    arty smokes is true. this picture shows how technology doesnt create a beautiful picture. its an artform and possibly one of the most difficullt ones to master.
