IN 7252 does not help, its from Kerry IN 1 to IN 9999 (Dec 1903 - Jan 1954)

While awaiting comments from the more knowledgeable (and those with access to business directories) I'd hazard a guess at after 1939 judging by the lorries. They look like late 1930s models. Unfortunately in pre NCT days you could see some really ancient cars about! The amount of cars suggests late 1940s if it is post 1939.

ZF Helps its Cork City, cannot read the number but it is over 1000 - ZF 1 to ZF 9999 (Aug 1946 - Dec 1958) So post Aug 1946

ZB Helps Cork County ZB 1 to ZB 9999 (Apr 1935 - Apr 1949); So a bit before April 1949. EDIT - all this tells us is that it is quite a bit after 1935.

I came up from Limerick a few times in the '50's on "educational tours" and part of our education was to be taken out there and to see the building which was considered 'state of the art' at that time! Internally it is still a very attractive building though it is hard to even see it today due to all the other buildings put up around it. If my memory serves me right I saw an Aer Linte Super Constellation there though some airplane buff might correct that for me???

Just looking at the bikes pedal-propped against the kerb: not a lock in sight. How times have changed.
