    I cannot find a Union Street in DC - perhaps it got "redeveloped." What I did find though was someone selling this very image on eBay under the title "1941 Union St. WASHINGTON DC Photo"

    Nice, these old images are fantastic. Not sure how the names have changed over the years, but to me this shows Union Street in the centre, and King Street to the right. The area in the foreground is known as Castlegate I think.
