You can see in this one picture all those things that made him one of a kind -- the athleticism, the attitude, the extraordinary focus and competitive drive and, yes, the meanness and the way he was always alone in a crowd, always with a chip on his shoulder and, in a team sport, without a friend in the world. Great picture!
