  This is a Short Type 320 Torpedo bomber, powered by a 320 hp Sunbeam Cossack (hence the Type number). A large machine with the pilot at the back and observer in front. Unequal span wings, upper wing 22,85 meter. Two centrally placed floats with two small round floats at the wing tips. Bigger float at the tail section. Very large rounded fixed tail section and balanced rudder. Mark that a big radiator for the water-cooled Sunbeam is right in front of the wings. Probably no problem for the visibility of the pilot as he sat at the back. It is known that in February 1918 a series of trials were run at Calshot in which 40 torpedoes were launched by four Short Type 320 machines.
