    "Araluen" was a house that was located on Whytecliffe Parade, Woody Point. The image is double exposed with people swimming in the ocean. It must have been a holiday house as there was a number of people who stayed there noted in the Brisbane Courier in the 1920s. It was "FOR LET" by D. Shields, Woody Point.     We've identified this photo -or rather, our friends at the Kilcoy Historical Society have. "It is Mr Edwin Randall on horseback, Monsildale Road, Sheep Station Creek, via Kilcoy . He and wife Jane selected Portion 107 26 September 1887. It is thought the house was one of the first sawn timber houses built in the Sheep Station Creek area."
