We've identified this photo -or rather, our friends at the Kilcoy Historical Society have. "It is Mr Edwin Randall on horseback, Monsildale Road, Sheep Station Creek, via Kilcoy . He and wife Jane selected Portion 107 26 September 1887. It is thought the house was one of the first sawn timber houses built in the Sheep Station Creek area." "Araluen" was a house that was located on Whytecliffe Parade, Woody Point. The image is double exposed with people swimming in the ocean. It must have been a holiday house as there was a number of people who stayed there noted in the Brisbane Courier in the 1920s. It was "FOR LET" by D. Shields, Woody Point.
