Thank you for helping me find a picture of my grandmother. She died of cancer at the age of 49, 2 months before I was born. I have very few pictures of her and none of her father Clarence E Smith or his father and mother Roxie Maria and William Van Rensselaer Smith. I believe Clarence died in 1910 at the age of 44.

Marjorie Augusta Vreeland (1892-1985), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Harold Vreeland of New York, married George Edward Von Gal (1893-1961) of Danbury CT in June 1916. Her father was a railroad executive. They had four sons together (their eldest son George Edward Von Gal Jr. held a handful of industrial patents). ginvongal.com/vvg2.htm
