(Mrs. H. Kinnicutt) Mrs. Fuller Potter -- Mrs. H.W. Howe (LOC)

I think the woman on the left is misidentified, and is Mrs. William Kinnicutt Draper (wife to a famous New York society doctor), born Helen Fidelia Hoffman, and a Red Cross leader involved in March, 1915 in the Red Cross Tea Room at the International Flower Show in New York.

A LOC Bain photo of Mrs. W.K. Draper (not yet posted to Flickr): lcweb2.loc.gov/service/pnp/ggbain/27600/27665r.jpg The woman on the right is probably Mrs. J. Fuller Potter (nee Mary B. Atterbury). She divorced Potter in 1921, after which she married Henry Wainwright Howe. That accounts for the extra "Mrs. H.W. Howe" inscription, which would have been made in the 20's. select.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=F50F15FD355E1B7A...

artolog: I think you're right about Draper. Looks like the same person to me. And, makes sense about the names given that refer to Potter/Howe. We'll include your updated information in the description next time we update!
