Wonderful art deco shot. Who would have thought taxis could look like a Busby Berkeley routine? Except for the fellow at the front, who should have his coat buttoned.

"The photo shows nineteen Dodge taxis with their uniformed drivers standing beside them. The cars are parked parallel to the kerb on what appears to be a drive through parkland. As the box in which these negatives were found is labelled 'All British Cabs. / at Nestles' it is possible that the cabs are in the grounds of the Nestle's factory, Great North Road, Abbotsford. Some registration plates are visible on the vehicles - NSW Taxi Cabs 103, 399, 1994, 378, 331, 677, 303, 72, 1001, 1953, 1491, 105, 979 and 566. The headquarters of the All British Cab Service was at 11 William Street, Sydney." —From the Object Description
