The detail in these photos in the original size is just amazing! Thanks for scanning and giving us access to our history and making research possible. Too many museums and libraries only provide very low resolution copies and want us to buy the high resolution versions for research purposes even though the copyright expired long ago.

The Manly boat (obscured) on the left is Baragoola, the other is Balgowlah

MV Baragoola Wow, how were you able to see that? Great spotting. :-)

Baragoola is the only one that has a round dodger - makes her very easy to recognise.

Koree in the foreground, The large one at the left is either of the twins Kuttabul or Koompartoo

MV Baragoola Thanks for the info. When you consider that it is clear what wharves these ferries are stopping at in the photographs, you can conclude which ones they may be by a process of elimination. Is that how you were able to identify them? Thanks again MV Baragoola.

Koree's name plat is visible - as for the other one only two (twin) vessels looked like that (at a distance though they are indistinguishable)

MV Baragoola Thanks for your expert knowledge! We've added these details to our records.
