Assuming they mean the Controller of New York, his name was William A. Prendergast, and his wife was the former Mary Agnes Hull. Mrs. William L. Colt was among the Congressional Union members arrested at a White House protest.

    Suffragettes. Alice Paul and Doris Stevens were noted feminists. Others are Mrs. William Colt and Mrs. William Prendergast. The Congressional Union for Woman Suffrage held a meeting of the Advisory Council in New York City in March 1915.

    the women held a rally headed by two decorated cars in front of what is now called Federal Hall, 26 Wall Street, New York City. It was then the Sub-Treasury building, and was built in 1842 as the New York Customs House.
