    There are 87 people listed in the Demesne in the 1901 census, including: Jarvis David 26 M England Coachman Bruen Michael 20 M Co Roscommon Stable Boy Domestic Servant Bruen John 19 M Co Roscommon Stable Boy Domestic Servant I think it is likely that those three are here somewhere. There are also many gardeners, gamekeepers, a Steward, a Butler and an RIC constable.

    I've eyeballed the 6" and 25" maps of Rockingham, and there are no buildings labelled Kennels as far as I can tell.

    I was there in the past year or so and took a few shots of that view. I like the little steam powered boat having just pushed off from the quayside. The boat on the left looks very well built with a clinker hull looking very well indeed.

    They're not curvy ironwork lamps - they're davits for lifting boats in and out of the water! They look like they were removable but yes they were not to be seen.
