Locomotive 11 is a 1939 EMC E3, one of two ordered by the ATSF. It was the first EMDC passerger unit with the then new 567. ATSF sold the units back to EMD in 1968, as credit for new 1900 series F45's. Could this be the ATSF Ranger?

The locomotive appears to be Union Terminal Co. 0-6-0 No. 7. If so, it survives today at the Museum of the American Railroad in the Dallas suburb of Frisco. The building at right with large sign on top was the Texas School Book Depository, from which Lee Harvey Oswald would assassinate U.S. President John F. Kennedy five years later.
