Such a great photo of a location that was very rarely photographed. This is taken at Red River St between 3rd and 4th, looking East. The train is coming from the street running on 3rd St , over to the street running on 4th. The boxcar is on a small siding at 4th that extended a bit to the West. Between the boxcar and the passenger car, you can make out the white bridge railing over Waller Creek. An approximate, even regional, location of the normal running area would be quite adequate given the possible uncertainty in the specific location. .

Very nice photograph... I'm a sucker for open vestibule observation cars.... This is just such a nice one... The RR business cars were so luxurious. I've toured through a few in museums... I just want to live in one! I've started to collect 20s-30s Pullman Co. blankets and already have a handsome stack of the linen towels. Someday, someday.
