William Corcoran Phillips was my great, great grandfather. If anyone has any team photos or news articles from teams he was on, I would appreciate a copy. I have many photos and articles already if anyone is interested please contact me. Thanks. Cynthia Phillips

The caption says "Blair," and he's not the same guy as in the other Schlafly photo.

[Harry Keupper, pitcher, St. Louis Federal League (baseball)] (LOC)

  • Art Siegel said:
I find no Harry Cooper listed as a St. Louis Terriers player, but there is a Henry Keupper who pitched for them in 1914, and baseball-reference.com uses this picture with his entry: www.baseball-reference.com/players/k/keupphe01.shtml LOC, any info on how theSABR committee did its identification?
  • The Library of Congress said:
artolog: It is indeed Henry Keupper. We checked with our colleagues at SABR and they acknowledge their error. We'll add this to our correction and update queue.
