The photo is taken in Lamalera, Lembata, E Indonesia. The sail and biped mast have been lowered as the peledang (or tenâ) is being poled toward the beach before it will then be pushed up the beach across logs to its boasted. The Atadei peninsula (SE Lembata) is in the background.
