The description of this feature is incorrect. The rapids, known as Weeping Rock since 1879, are at least 100 metres upstream from Queens Cascade, which is the feature "at the head" of (now) Wentworth Falls. Interestingly, these photographs were taken before the construction of the Charles Darwin Walk from the Wentworth Falls township, stretching 2km along Jamison Creek to Wentworth Falls proper. That construction involved the carving out of sandstone steps right beside Weeping Rock, which can be seen here: www.flickr.com/photos/51321042@N02/51701545646/in/datepos...
