I concur. No water near Harrison NY. There was a train wreck at Harrison's Landing, CT in 1892, although the accounts I've read don't mention carriages landing in the water.

Maybe it's this? 20 people died in this wreck. A definite cause was never found. Either the embankment gave way or the engine jumped the tracks. Is this title correct?

The title, according to the New York Public Library Digital Gallery, is "Three men standing in from of store in Garrison, NY" -- "Garrison, NY railroad wreck"

I live in Harrison, NY, and this does not look like Harrison to me. I believe judging from the scenery of the Hudson River and the Highlands that this could be GARRISON, NY.

I told them about the error four months ago and they still haven't changed it.

I found a record of a wreck that happened outside of Bridgeport Connecticut in 1911 which is just 30 miles or so from Harrison NY, I think that might be it.
