He was an at-large delegate to both the 1912 and 1916 Democratic National Convention. In 1916 he was a member of the Platform and Resolutions Committee. [1] Norman Edward Mack (1858-1932) was editor and publisher of the Buffalo Daily Times. He was chairman of the Democratic National Committee from 1908 through 1912. [2] Hugh C. Wallace (Hugh Campbell), (1863-1931), of Tacoma, Washington. Wallace became one of the most influential financiers of the U.S. Northwest and was a leader of the Democratic party in the region. In 1916 he was a member of the Democratic National Committee. Wallace later served as American ambassador to France from 1919-1921. [3] Colonel J. I.
