Without the Spanish Inquisition crossing the bridge this falls rather flat. Still, splendid gravel.

Also, it's the bridge a couple of hundred yards East of PELAW metro station, nowhere near the Bede Industrial Estate.

Lovely shot of the cavalry getting ready. Interesting barrack buildings in the background, all much the same as those in such places as Birr, Templemore etc. except that the space above the archway is not built up and the clock is not mounted on the tower of the cupola.

Thats a great picture - some equipment each cavalry trooper had. Hope the clock was working!!

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/rockface] Well, like Rupert Brooke's poem, The Old Vicarage, Grantchester where the question is asked: "Stands the Church clock at ten to three?" - in this photo, it'll always be a case of "Stands the Barracks clock at eleven twenty?"...

Can you spot the officers - they seem to have different tunics. Spotted this image of todays cavalry!

RG_IV12 A lot more "horse power" in your photo, methinks!
