    No idea why the ITA was interested, but it is an attractive building. Flickr is sometimes on the other side. In 2017 via Darryl Bond who says ... "Originally built as Athy's wooden corn exchange in the 1850s, but being tremendously unsuccessful in this role due to poor ventilation it was repurposed as a courthouse in the late 1800s. Burnt down by a lone-wolf IRA member who was later court martialled by said outfit, the building was rebuilt in a most impressive form using stone in 1928. Foley and O’Sullivan were the architects."

    beachcomber australia Seems like a little more information than available from the NIAH record#11505116 for Athy Courthouse, Emily square, Athy, though that does confirm build date of 1858 and original use as a corn exchange. It is describes as "Freestanding seven-bay two-storey Tudor Revival" with "ingle-storey open arcades to east and west sides, lower single-bay single-storey former porch to north end, two-storey judiciary rooms to south. It also said to service the wee matter of having public toilets and the social services office is there also.

In 2009 via Irish Dominican Photographers "A roof structure for a hanger or the like in which first and second roof sections having the shapes of parts of respective first and second hyperbolic paraboloids, having common base lines are joined along a line lying on the locus of an arch common to the two paraboloids to form a roof having openings of predetermined height between spaced roof supports. Reinforcing girders around the edges of the roof are formed with triangular cross sections made up of hyperbolic paraboloid surfaces joined by vertical edges.
