Sheehy-Skeffington has been posted up here previously ...will have a rummage post rummage edit, it was Lilian Metge photo I was thinking of. She was arrested with SS for leafletting

Mrs Sheehy-Skeffington was in the USA in early 1917. The news of her safe arrival in New York City was announced in the Irish Citizen on Jan 6th. The Irish Citizen carried regular news of her visit, and she also wrote pieces as "H.S.S."

They (H.S.S. and her 7-year-old son Owen) were still in America as reported in the Irish Citizen on 3rd March. A speech made at Carnegie Hall gets mentioned quite a lot.
