Patrick Moran (1876-1924) was a catcher and manager in Major League Baseball. He played for the Boston Beaneaters (1901–1905), Chicago Cubs (1906–1909) and Philadelphia Phillies (1910–1914). As a manager, he led two teams to their first-ever modern-era National League championships: the 1915 Philadelphia Phillies and the 1919 Cincinnati Reds. [1]
