Lawrence Jones III saved the history of Texas for posterity through his unceasing efforts at collecting and archiving these images, expending his life savings many times over to acquire images such as this one, and now he and the institution he chose to preserve them for all share freely with us. What a magnificent gift to be able to show this to my son.
