This is actually a composite photo from the 1900 campaign. There was no time to get the two candidates together, so with a little turn-of-the-century photoshopping, McKinley's first vice president (Garrett Hobart who'd passed away) was replaced with Theodore Roosevelt.

Does this mean that E.B. Thompson was the creator of this image? Does anyone know whether Roosevelt may have been Thompson's patron, in the general sense of helping to promote his career?
