the 1913 International Flower show related to these photos was held at the Grand central palace. Unfortunately the building was demolished and I can't find any record of the eagles. The International Flower Show, co-sponsored with the New York Florist’s Club, was the grandest of the shows produced by The Horticultural Society. She stands out like a star in this picture because she's able to be so much more natural than the others. She didn't have a preconception of how someone should hold their face for a photo so she just WAS. Lovely.
