Streetview. The fountain is indeed gone. It was one of 5 that Sir Richard Wallace gave to Lisburn in 1876. This one was apparently a casualty of war: "During the war years three of the fountains were dismantled to accommodate the demand for metal to make armaments." But there are 2 of its siblings still in Lisburn - pictures at the above link.

Wallace fountains are also found all over Paris: "In the 19th century Sir Richard Wallace was a wealthy English art collector and philanthropist who lived in France. When the Franco Prussian war damaged many of the aqueducts in Paris there remained little access to clean water for many of the most needy Parisians. His solution to this problem was the erection of public drinking fountains. " This particular model was " work of art by the French sculptor, Charles-Auguste Lebourg" and made by Val D’Osne.

The "Barbour jacket" lads were John Barbour and Sons. John was Scottish, and founded the company in 1894 in South Shields in County Durham, England.

This Barbour is much older: The firm was founded in 1784 by John Barbour from Paisley, Scotland and has had the distinction of being one of the longest-lived in the textile business in the British Isles. John's son, William, set up the premises at Hilden in 1823 and employed about 300 workers in spinning, dyeing and bleaching linen thread.
