Who was he and who was she - mother, aunt? And where was this photo taken? There are many photographs in the State Library of Queensland's collection that have unidentified people, places and times. Can you help to solve some of the mysteries? We invite you to add comments to this photograph if you know who might be in the photograph or where it is.

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/51979177@N02] That would be great, thanks. It does appear from all of that information that is is most likely his mother. We'll add your information to our record in the catalogue. Thanks so much!

According to Wikitree.com/wiki The man could be Ernest Lindsay Hardgrave born in 1903 in, Queensland Australia, died in 1978. Son of Ernest Winsley Stephen Hardgrave and Ellen (Harvey) Hardgrave. If the woman in the photo is his mother it could be Ellen (Harvey) Hardgrave.
